Three dates just added to 15-date spring tour, tickets on sale now

Multi platinum-selling and Grammy Award-winning artists Steven Curtis Chapman and Third Day are set to share the stage this spring. Their 15-date tour will kick off in Little Rock, Arkansas, on April 14 and conclude in Cincinnati on May 7.

This unique tour will be the first time Third Day and Chapman share the stage together as one group, performing each other's hits and making an unforgettable night of music.

Ticket pre-sales are already surpassing expectations, thanks to the fans who are expressing their support and excitement for this new concert experience.

"I can't tell you all how excited I am to be a part of a 'first time ever' tour experience with my buds from Third Day," Chapman said. "Something we've been dreaming and talking about for years is finally happening. ... Third Day as my band and me as a member of Third Day ... a true 'come together' experience for the both of us! It's gonna be a very special night for us and for the audience that gets to experience it with us."

Third Day's Mac Powell said, "We have done shows together in the past, but this will be the first time that we are actually on a full tour together. But the thing that I'm most excited about for this tour is I don't think anything like this has been done in the Christian marketplace where a solo artist and band got together and were onstage the whole time together playing each other's songs. That is what is so intriguing and attractive about this whole thing."

Tickets for all of the tour dates are on sale now. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit thirdday.com or stevencurtischapman.com.

Most recently, Third Day was nominated for the 58th Annual Grammy Awards in the "Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song" category for their chart-topping single "Soul On Fire." Since their self-titled debut album released in 1996, Third Day has a total of four Grammy Awards and 12 nominations.

Additionally, the group will be featured in Sony Pictures Entertainment's "Miracles From Heaven," releasing March 16. The film, starring Jennifer Garner and Queen Latifah, will include Third Day performing 2015 Christian Airplay Song of the Year "Soul On Fire" and their current single "Your Words."

After a successful "Lead Us Back Tour" in the fall with Brandon Heath, the group is kicking off the second leg of its "Lead Us Back Tour" on Feb. 25 and running through March 20, again joined by Heath. For further touring information, click HERE.

Chapman is set to release his latest album, "Worship and Believe," on March 4. The album, co-produced by Chapman and Brent Milligan, is his first worship record in a three-decade-long career. This 16-track project features co-writes from Matt Maher, Matt Redman and Chris Tomlin, and the album's first single, "Amen," was co-written by and features members of Rend Collective.

Before hitting the road with Third Day, Chapman is currently co-headlining a multicity tour with Amy Grant. Presented by Show Hope, "An Evening with Amy Grant & Steven Curtis Chapman" began on Feb. 16 in Davenport, Iowa, and will wrap in Greenville, South Carolina, on Feb. 28. In November, Chapman returned to the historic Ryman Auditorium to host a new season of "Sam's Place-Music for the Spirit," benefitting Show Hope. Running through May, many of today's favorite artists are expected to appear, including Maher, Tomlin, Big Daddy Weave and more. Tickets can be purchased by clicking HERE.

The tour was announced by Awakening Events and is presented by Food For The Hungry.
