Heart of Niagara event at My Garden of Healing highlights 'Adopt A Senior Pet Month'

Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue will be present with adoptable dogs Devers, Hope and Tillie from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. this Sunday, Nov. 8, at My Garden of Healing, 2770 Main St. Newfane (across from True Value Hardware). The rescue was invited to help highlight "Adopt A Senior Pet Month."

Information about the adoption process and other seniors that could be rescued, volunteering and upcoming events will be available. Donations of Science Diet and Purina One dog food will be gratefully accepted. New volunteers are always welcome.

Heart of Niagara is a not-for-profit companion animal rescue organization is based in Niagara County. Its mission is to protect the health and welfare of abandoned, unwanted and homeless animals. To date, the rescue has adopted out more than 360 animals. It operates solely on donations and the generosity and
support of the public.
