Fallsview Casino welcomes John Oates and Donny Osmond

If your New Year's resolution is to have more fun and to experience more live entertainment, then Fallsview Casino is an ideal place to start.

For one night only, Songwriter Hall of Fame member John Oates will headline Fallsview Casino's intimate "Songwriters" series. As one half of the most successful recording duo in rock history, Hall & Oates, John will take audiences through an acoustic singer-songwriter journey of music, inspiring an evening of stories and songs that have influenced him, from roots and blues to a few favorite Hall & Oates hits, plus new songs from his acclaimed solo albums. (8:30 p.m. Jan. 23.)

Returning to the Avalon stage will be crowd-pleasing sing-along productions of "Jersey Nights" (Jan. 7-10, 12-14) and the World Rock Symphony Orchestra (Jan. 22-26, 28-30).

With a career that spans five decades, singer/entertainer Donny Osmond will delight audiences with some of his biggest singles, such as "Soldier of Love," "My Love Is A Fire" and "Puppy Love." (9 p.m. Jan. 15 and 3 and 9 p.m. Jan. 16.)

Also performing will be acclaimed actress/singer Mimi Choo, who promises a unique concert featuring a mix of her comedic wit and Cantonese pop music. (7 p.m. Jan. 17 and 8:30 p.m. Jan. 18.)
