Lewiston: Favorite's Pizzeria serves up scholarships for Artpark Rock Camp

Favorite's Pizzeria of Lewiston generously provided two scholarships for Artpark "Rock Camp" (Aug. 17-22). After an application and selection process, scholarships were awarded to Lauryn Andrews, 15, of Lewiston, and Sarah Lester, 11, of Youngstown (pictured with Favorite's employees).

"We are always looking for opportunities to offer children in the area cultural experiences. Artpark offers a variety of amazing activities that we are proud to support," a spokesperson for Favorite's Pizzeria said.

Artpark "Rock Camp" provides a unique opportunity for young musicians (guitar, bass guitar, keyboards) to develop their skills and collaborate with other aspiring performers. To be eligible for "Rock Camp," students ages 12-18 must have a minimum of two years experience on their instrument.

The final day of camp features a concert for family and friends on the Artpark outdoor amphitheater stage.
