Carol Caswell honored as HANCI's 'Caring Counts' winner

The Health Association of Niagara County Inc. has announced home care aide Carol Caswell is the recipient of the "Caring Counts" Award.

"Carol has been an outstanding member of the HANCI home care team for over 35 years," HANCI CEO John Kinner said. "She is an extraordinary aide. Carol provides the highest quality of care to each of her clients, and does so in a compassionate, caring way. We thank Carol for being such a dedicated employee."

The HANCI "Caring Counts" Award is given monthly to a home care employee who exceeds work expectations by going above and beyond the call of duty to provide outstanding care and service to clients.

Caswell always wanted to help people by becoming a nurse, so home care seemed like the perfect fit. The mother of two adult daughters loves to paint ceramics, go to church and watch her favorite TV show - "NCIS." She also adores her four grandchildren.

"Carol is an outstanding aide, and I don't know what I would do without her," one of clients said. "She's always there for me."
