The Lewiston Council on the Arts and Just Buffalo Literary Center will present another program in the second season of the Lewiston Arts Café. Poets Lynn Ciesielski and Randy Rumley, and musician Davey O will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, at the Historic Lewiston Opera Hall, 732 Center St.

Hosted by Perry Nicholas and Maria Sebastian, Arts Café is a series of programs that feature some of the finest poets and musicians in Western New York.

Ciesielski's work has appeared in a number of periodicals, including "Yale Journal for Humanities in Medicine," the Buffalo News, "Nerve Cowboy," "Iodine Poetry Journal" and "Helix Magazine."

Rumley teaches writing at Niagara County Community College and celebrates the word in all its myriad formations. He has been published in "Pure Light," "Aspen Leaves," "Thel," "Poet" and the "Seneca Review."

Davey O has been described by Buffalo News critic Jeff Miers as having a journalist's eye for detail and a poet's ear for the well-turned observation. Davey O crafts pure Americana drawn from the deep well of experience and human emotion.

Arts Café serves up an evening of entertainment and intellectual stimulation in an intimate, 1960s-style coffeehouse atmosphere. The cost of admission is $2 for the general public and free for LCA and JBLC members.
