The Town and Village of Lewiston Republican Committee recently announced its unanimous endorsement of the following candidates for the 2015 Town of Lewiston elections: Steve Broderick for town supervisor, Doug Janese for highway superintendent, William (Bill) Conrad for Town Board, and Donna Garfinkel for town clerk. In addition, the committee has endorsed judges Hugh Gee and Thomas Sheeran.

Applications are still being accepted for a second open Town Board position.

"We are extremely excited about our endorsed Town of Lewiston candidates," Lewiston Republican Committee Chairman Karl Frankovitch said. "Every one of these individuals bring unparalleled education, experience and a personal history of selfless dedication to our community. I know they can help lead Lewiston to the bright future its citizens deserve."

The Lewiston Republican Committee will hold a fundraiser from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, June 11, at The Brickyard Pub & B.B.Q., 432 Center St., Lewiston.
