Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue at Boulevard Mall Saturday

Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue will be present with adoptable dogs from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the Boulevard Mall (Sears courtyard), Niagara Falls Boulevard and Maple Road, Amherst. Meet Beethoven, Hope, Jazzy and Romeo, who are seeking loving forever homes.

The public is invited to come and find out more about the adoption process, fostering, volunteer opportunities, animal care and upcoming meetings and events. Dog Food donations of Science Diet and Purina One will be gladly accepted at the event.

Heart of Niagara is a not-for-profit companion animal rescue organization based in Niagara County. Its mission is to protect the health and welfare of abandoned, unwanted and homeless animals. To date, volunteers have adopted out more than 300 animals. They operate solely on donations and the generosity and support of the public.

Volunteer meetings take place at 6:30 p.m. the second Wednesday of every month at First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston, 505 Cayuga St. Meetings are open to the public. New volunteers are welcome.
