Sunnking Inc., in partnership with Camp Good Days and Special Times, has created a program called "E-Scrap 4 Camp" that facilitates recycling old electronics from participating local businesses to generate funds for Camp Good Days.

2015 marks the fifth "E-Scrap 4 Camp" fundraising campaign. In the first four years, a total of 1,419,551 pounds of electronics were collected and recycled, resulting in more than $42,000 donated to Camp Good Days on behalf of Sunnking.

For the month of April, Sunnking will provide free electronics recycling supplies and pick-ups at participating schools, businesses, nonprofits and other organizations in the Buffalo and Rochester area. Organizations are encouraged to collect old and unwanted electronics from employees, friends and family. Sunnking will donate money to Camp Good Days for every pound of electronics recycled.

To register your organization, visit www.sunnking.com/escrap-4-camp. The deadline to sign up is March 20.

"We are excited to be a part of this unique fundraising event once again this year," said Gary Mervis, chairman and founder of Camp Good Days. "This program has had great success in the first four years, and we anticipate similar support and success again this year.

"We are only able to continue this because of the generous support from so many individuals and organizations, like Sunnking Inc., and the success of special fundraising events and activities, like 'E-Scrap 4 Camp.' "

How It Works

•Each participating location will have the opportunity to collect electronics from employees, friends and family for one week during the month of April (collection week will be determined by geographic location).

•Sunnking will provide collection boxes and pallets the week prior to each location's scheduled collection at no cost (Box dimensions are approximately 48 inches wide, 40 inches long and 48 inches tall. They sit on top of a standard pallet).

•Electronics will be picked up by Sunnking the week after the scheduled collection week and recycled at no cost.

•Sunnking will track and record the net weight of electronics recycled from each participating location and will provide a report and certificate of donation at the end of the campaign. Also at the end of the campaign, Sunnking will donate money to Camp Good Days for every pound of electronics recycled.
