The Lewiston Community Lions will host Bret Biro of Lexi's Place at its next meeting, Tuesday, Jan. 6. The event will run from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at The Brickyard Pub & B.B.Q., 432 Center St., Lewiston.
Lexi's Place is a community outreach program in the Niagara Region that reaches out to at-risk teens, giving them hope and helping them through daily struggles. The program's mission is to end isolation, prejudice and violence in the lives of young people.
Lexi's Place has a calling and desire to encourage and empower at-risk teens to become strong leaders, for they are the future.
All are encouraged and welcome to attend. Bring your teenagers to hear testimonials on how the program has helped others through personal struggles.
The meeting is free to attend. Dinner is not included, but menu options are available on an individual basis.
