With 2015 just around the corner, the Youngstown Lions Club seeks to get the word out now on an all-new offering: the Youngstown Lions St. Patrick's "Cash" Bash, taking place from 3 to 6 p.m., Saturday, March 14, at the Red Brick School Village Center gym, 240 Lockport St.
Youngstown Lion Pete Coppins reports tickets are now on sale for a donation of $20. The drawing will see eight cash prizes offered: two $500 awards and six $300 prizes to a lucky winner over the course of the afternoon. And the winner need not be present to take home a prize.
That's not all. That day, at 4, 5 and 6 p.m., there will be $100 drawings held until someone wins. The winner must be present to win.
Bandana's staff will cater the event with food, beer, wine and soft drinks.
All proceeds from the "Cash Bash" will benefit the Youngstown Lions Neil Riordan Scholarship Fund and the Lions Screening Eyes Only (SEE) program.
