Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission
In the afterglow of Thanksgiving, Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission enthusiastically recognizes more than 350 generous volunteers and 20 churches that donated countless hours and resources to make Thanksgiving Feed the Falls a huge success again this year.
Over 1,300 meals were prepared and delivered to those in need by loving hands and generous souls all over the community. Jason Myers, board member, commented, "It always surprises me that no matter what we need, somehow, someone always shows up to meet it. This year we ran short of dinner rolls and a local man rose to the occasion and said, 'I'll take care of it!' A few minutes later he showed up with bags full of fresh rolls and a big smile."
A sincere 'Thank You' is extended to all who participated by purchasing supplies, praying, coordinating volunteers, baking turkeys, packaging meals and delivering these precious dinner packages all over town.
