The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team will host the 11th annual Buffalo Sabres Corporate Hockey Challenge Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, at First Niagara Center.

The Buffalo Sabres Corporate Hockey Challenge is a 3-on-3 hockey tournament held annually at First Niagara Center that pairs Sabres alumni with members of participating companies in a tournament to raise money for the Buffalo Sabres Foundation. Each team includes seven players as well as one member of the Sabres alumni, with each player receiving a special Corporate Challenge-themed gift.

Teams also will have an opportunity to participate in the live "Alumni Draft" in which they will select the former Sabres player who will join their team for the tournament. Date and time for the draft is TBD.

The teams will take the ice Thursday, Jan. 29, at First Niagara Center, with the entire tournament taking place that day. The event will be capped with a happy hour and dinner for all participants, and the chance to tell tales of glory as participants recap their moments on the Buffalo Sabres home ice.

The cost to participate is $3,500 per team. Interested parties can contact Teresa Belbas at 716-855-4588 or [email protected]. Registration also can be completed by clicking here.
