'Arrow' scores with 'Flash' crossover

Highest rating ever in adults 18-49, and most watched episode since its series premiere

"Arrow" matches series highs in adults 18-34 and men 18-34

The CW shoots to most-watched Wednesday in more than two years

UPDATED: Hot on the heels of "The Flash's" strong performance Tuesday night, the "Arrow" crossover episode scored its highest-rated episode ever in in adults 18-34 (1.3/5) and adults 18-49 (1.4/4), and had its second-most-watched episode ever (3.92 million), behind only its series premiere Oct. 10, 2012, according to national Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday.

With last night's conclusion of the epic crossover event, "Arrow" also set series high in men 18-34 (1.6/7), and in men 18-49 (1.8/6).

"Arrow" ranked No. 1 in the hour in men 18-34, No. 2 in the hour in adults 18-34, No. 2 in men 18-49, and also outrated FOX in both adults 18-49 and total viewers.

Week to week, "Arrow" was up 48 percent in total viewers, 63 percent in adults 18-34, 60 percent in men 18-34, 56 percent in adults 18-49, and 80 percent in men 18-49.

"The 100" hit a season high in total viewers (1.86 million), rising 18 percent over last week, and remained even with last week's season highs in adults 18-34 (0.5/2) and in adults 18-49 (0.6/2).

This was The CW's most watched Wednesday night (2.89 million) in more than two years, since Nov. 14, 2012, and highest-rated in adults 18-49 (1.0/3), in more than a year.

The CW ranked No. 1 (tie) for the night (8-10 p.m.) among broadcasters in men 18-34 (1.0/4).

Versus its last night of originals two weeks ago, The CW was up 35 percent in total viewers, 29 percent in adults 18-34 (0.9/3), and 43 percent in adults 18-49 (1.0/3).

Versus this same Wednesday last year, The CW was up 16 percent in total viewers and 11 percent in adults 18-49.
