The annual Town of Wheatfield Lions Club Senior Citizen Pancake Breakfast will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, at the Henry Scibisz Five Senses Nature Park Clubhouse, located on Ward Road next to American Legion Post 1451.

Offered free of charge to area seniors, the annual all-you-can-eat breakfast will feature pancakes, sausage, orange juice and coffee/tea.

The Lions Club cooks, brought back by popular demand, include pancake flippers Paul Wilson and Bob Cliffe, and sausage master Art Kroening, who will perform his grill magic.

Lions Debbie Carr, Carol Castagner and Agnes Ryan will hold a raffle for a "Mega Basket" at the pancake breakfast.

This annual breakfast is presented as a big "thank you" to all the Wheatfield senior citizens who, over the years, have made the Wheatfield community a better place to live and raise a family.

Bill Ross, president of the Wheatfield Lions Club, reminds seniors that, if you or your family/friends need a wheelchair, hospital bed, or other medical assistant devices, you can contact a member of the Town of Wheatfield Lions Club for a free loaner at 716-692-3508 or 716-731-5949. The Wheatfield Lions Club has the largest free loan closet in Western New York.
