The Niagara Arts Guild will hold its fall art show at the Lockside Art Center (Lock View Plaza), 21-41 Main St., Lockport (take the elevator to Suite 208). The show will open Sunday, Sept. 28, with an opening reception from 2-4 p.m. The show will run through Saturday, Oct. 25. Hours of operation are noon until 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Lockside Art Center overlooks the Erie Canal at the Flight of Five Locks (Nos. 67-71), in the Niagara section of the canal. This area is a major part of the Lockport Locks Heritage District. Information on the Lockside Art Center can be found at www.locksideartcenter.com.

The Niagara Arts Guild is comprised of 35 artists who work in all different media. Its goal is to bring artists of all types together to meet, network and inspire. The guild meets the third Friday of each month from September through June. NAG holds two juried shows a year. All artistic media is welcome, including (but certainly not limited to) painting (watercolor, oils and acrylics), photography, pen and ink.

The meetings are open. The Niagara Arts Guild is always accepting new members.
