Beginning May 29, Happening, Youthful, Driven... Reinventing Our Niagara Falls is hosting a weekly drum circle to benefit Community Missions.
The kickoff event, "Drumming for Fun(ds)," invites locals to "sit back and enjoy the music," or bring their own drum and participate from 6-8 p.m.
The initial drum circle will be held at The Niagara Arts and Cultural Center, 1201 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls.
The following African drum circles (June 12, 19; July 10, 17, 24; Aug. 7, 21) will be at Heritage Park, followed by live music on Old Fall Street at 7 p.m. The African drum circle is made up of young professionals, led by Andrew Daniels, local percussionist and songwriter.
