The Niagara Tourism & Convention Corp. recently announced the promotion of two staff members. Lana Perlman was appointed director of visitor services, while Lindsey Bowman was named tourism sales coordinator.

As director of visitor services, Perlman will manage all in-market visitor services, including the development and implementation of new and innovative programs to enhance the organization's existing services. She began with NTCC as an intern in 2007 while attending Niagara University's College of Hospitality & Tourism and was hired as tourism sales coordinator in 2009. After taking a brief leave to pursue other career opportunities, Perlman returned to the organization in August as tourism sales coordinator.

A lifelong Niagara Falls resident, Perlman is an active member in the community. She currently serves as vice-chair of the Niagara Beautification Commission.

Bowman, a recent graduate of Niagara University's College of Hospitality & Tourism, joined NTCC last summer. After beginning as an intern, she most recently served as marketing assistant for the organization. In her new role as tourism sales coordinator, Bowman assists the director of tourism sales in generating business from the group and consumer markets. She resides in the Town of Niagara.

The mission of the Niagara Tourism & Convention Corp. is to expand the economic prosperity of the Niagara USA communities by generating individual and group visitation. For more information, visit niagara-usa.com.
