Erie County Fair announces grandstand concert lineup

With just 128 days remaining until the opening of the 175th Erie County Fair, organizers are proud to announce the 2014 concert lineup. The shows will take place in the newly named Gusto Grandstand throughout the run of the fair.

The Gusto Grandstand lineup is as follows:

•Thursday, Aug. 7, at 8 p.m. John Fogerty

Fogerty has been named one of Rolling Stone magazine's "100 Greatest Guitarists" and "100 Greatest Singers" of all time.

Tickets are $60 for blue ribbon track reserved and $45 for general admission.

•Saturday, Aug. 9 at 7:30 p.m. Bridgit Mendler

Star of Disney "Channel's Good Luck Charlie," Mendler co-wrote all the songs on her debut album, "Hello My Name Is...", which went straight to No. 1 on the iTunes pop album chart.

Tickets are $60 for blue ribbon track reserved and $45 for general admission.

•Monday, Aug. 11, at 8 p.m. Dierks Bentley

Country music star Dierks Bentley has released 10 No. 1 singles. The latest song, "I Hold On," hit No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay charts. Bentley's newest album, "Riser," debuted in February and hit No. 1 on Billboard's Top U.S. Country Albums.

Tickets are $60 for blue ribbon track reserved and $45 for general admission.

•Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 8 p.m. Lady Antebellum

2013 American Music Awards' "Favorite Country Band, Duo or Group, Lady Antebellum is also nominated for this year's Academy of Country Music's "Best Vocal Group" award (winners announced April 6). The group has released five studio albums and has recorded five No. 1 singles.

Tickets are $80 for blue ribbon track reserved and $65 for general admission.

Tickets for these events will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday, April 4. Guests who wish to purchase tickets may do so online via ecfair.org or tickets.com; by calling tickets.com at 1-888-223-6000, or by visiting the Fairgrounds Event Center (Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).

Grandstand tickets purchased prior to the day of the show grant the ticketholder free admission to the Erie County Fair on the day of the event. Guests are permitted to bring cameras into the Gusto Grandstand, but nothing with a professional lens. Many Gusto Grandstand seats are uncovered, so guests are asked to dress for the weather (umbrellas are not permitted inside the Gusto Grandstand).
