The Lewiston Council on the Arts and Corey McGowan Productions have teamed up to bring back A Taste of Lewiston. The event will be held on Center Street from noon until 8 p.m. Saturday, May 27.

As part of the returning festival, local restaurants will have an opportunity to showcase their specialty foods, while local businesses can promote items, sales and the village, in general.

McGowan's self-titled promotions company is responsible for the Taste of Niagara Falls, Taste of Grand Island and Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament.

"I am privileged to be working with the LCA and am excited to kick off the summer season with many of Lewiston's finest businesses," he said. "We expect large crowds, as the excitement is already building around Lewiston!"

Applications are now available. Those looking to participate can contact the LCA at 716-754-0166, by email at [email protected], or visit www.artcouncil.org. McGowan can be reached via www.coreymcgowan.com.
