N-W students raise funds for brain cancer awareness

Students from the Niagara-Wheatfield High School marketing classes and junior varsity softball team combined their efforts to raise over $2,200 for charity initiatives Ginny's Journey and Brundy's Brigade. 

Ginny Fagard of Wheatfield and Nathan Brundage, a Niagara-Wheatfield senior, are both battling brain cancer. Fagard and Brundage were in attendance May 10 as the N-W JV softball team played Kenmore West Senior High School in a cancer and brain cancer awareness game. N-W won the game, 11-0.
