Big night ... big band ... big party!

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center's marquee event, the 11th annual Premier, will swing, jive and hop to the music of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

The Premier will be held Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, at the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has built a loyal following through relentless touring and an impressive discography that includes the platinum-selling album "Americana Deluxe" and follow-ups "This Beautiful Life," "Save My Soul" and "Everything You Want for Christmas." Their music has appeared in countless films and television shows, including "Swingers," "The Wild," "Despicable Me," "Family Guy," "Phineas and Ferb," "Malcolm in the Middle" and "Ally McBeal."

Their songs are frequently used for dance routines on "Dancing with the Stars" and "So You Think You Can Dance." They also have been featured in Olympic gymnastic and figure skating routines and on television broadcasts of high-profile sporting events including the NFL, NBA, MLB and PGA. The band is currently on a national tour that will wrap up in New Orleans Dec. 30.

Nik & the Nice Guys, a high-energy mainstream band that features multitalented vocalists and a hot horn section called The Niktones, will provide dinner and late night dance music for The Premier.

The Premier will pay tribute to Seneca Nation of Indians leader Barry Snyder Sr., who has served five terms as president, and psychiatrist Dr. Hak J. Ko, Memorial's director of inpatient behavioral health.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Golisano Center for Community Health at Niagara Falls Memorial. The new center's groundbreaking is scheduled for March 2015.

Chairpersons for The Premier are Dr. Venkat and Christin Kolli and Gary and Francine Hall. For information on Premier sponsorship opportunities and tickets, call 716-278-4570.
