Halloween is a "thrilling" time of year, and that is why five area dance studios decided to join forces and perform the classic dance "Thriller" at the Galleria Mall on Saturday.

Along with performing the routine, the students from the participating dance schools are looking to raise awareness for Dancers Give Back, an organization that raises funds for cancer research and patient support.

Dancers Give Back will hold its Buffalo fundraiser at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at West Seneca East Middle School, 1445 Center Road. This fundraiser is open to the public and includes a Chinese auction and "Cake Walk."

The "Thriller" performance was the brainstorm of Miss Suzi Hayes and Miss Barb Denny from Barb Denny's Studio of Dance Arts. Many of their students will perform with students from Tonawanda Dance Arts, Celebrity Dance Emporium, Mary Alice's Dance Studio and Performing Arts Dance Academy.

The participating dance schools invite the public to join them at 6, 6:30, 7 and 7:30 p.m. For information about attending Dancers Give Back or making a donation, contact Mary Alice's Dance Studio at 716-662-1080.
