Heart of Niagara at Boulevard Mall with Buffy, Butch and Violet

Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue will be present with adoptable dogs from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday at the Sears courtyard inside the Boulevard Mall, corner Niagara Falls Boulevard and Maple Road, Amherst. Meet adoptable dogs Tulip and Buster; photos and information on these and all HON animals are available online at www.heartofniagara.org.

The public is invited to come and meet these animals and to find out more about the adoption process, animal care, and upcoming meetings and events. Heart of Niagara is a not-for-profit companion animal rescue organization based in Niagara County. Its mission is to protect the health and welfare of abandoned, unwanted and homeless animals.

To date, volunteers have adopted out more than 225 animals. They operate solely on donations and the generosity and support of the public.

Monthly volunteer meetings take place the second Wednesday of each month from 6:30-8 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston, 505 Cayuga St. Meetings are open to the public and new volunteers are always welcome.
