Annual event to benefit American and Canadian cancer societies, ECMC Lifeline Foundation

Hard Rock Café, Niagara Falls USA, is uniting fans, musicians and survivors in honor of the brand's 15th annual Pinktober campaign.

On Friday, Oct. 10, Hard Rock Café, Niagara Falls USA, will host the fifth annual "International Living Ribbon" across the Rainbow Bridge. Hard Rock invites guests and cancer survivors to gather across the Rainbow Bridge connecting the U.S. and Canada to symbolically join the fight against breast cancer (register at 5:30 p.m.). Together with the Buffalo Bills "Billieve," the café also will turn the falls pink.

Hard Rock and Erie County Medical Center, the presenting sponsor, will host a free outdoor concert on O'Laughlin Drive with performances by '80s tribute band The Spazmatics and The Diva Show. The event will benefit the American Cancer Society, the Canadian Cancer Society, and the ECMC Lifeline Foundation - organizations that combine an unyielding passion with nearly a century of experience to save lives and end suffering from cancer.

Hard Rock is partnering with the Buffalo Bills, Erie County Medical Center, ECMC Lifeline Foundation and KISS 98.5 for the "International Living Ribbon" and outdoor concert (7 p.m.), which also will support the Buffalo Bills and their "Billieve" breast cancer awareness campaign for the third consecutive year.

Hard Rock's 15th annual Pinktober program continues throughout September and October with breast cancer awareness walks, pink fashion shows, high-energy concerts, "Pink" menu offerings, "Pink Sheets Rooms" and more. Guests are invited to join the fight against breast cancer at Hard Rock cafés, hotels and casinos worldwide by raising awareness and funds for a cause that affects millions. Proceeds from the campaign will support research and awareness-driving efforts for various breast cancer charities around the world.
