Vacation package to be featured on Sept. 2 episode of popular game show

One lucky "Let's Make a Deal" contestant could walk away with a grand prize trip to Niagara USA next week. Niagara will be featured Tuesday, Sept. 2. "Let's Make a Deal" airs locally at 10 a.m. on CBS (WIVB-TV).

The Niagara Tourism & Convention Corp. was contacted by Delaware North Companies to compile the prize package for the popular game show. This is the first time NTCC has provided a prize for "Let's Make Deal."

"Appearing on 'Let's Make a Deal' gives us a national platform to showcase the Niagara USA brand. Having that exposure is invaluable to the destination," said John Percy, NTCC president and CEO. "We are looking forward to seeing our region's beautiful imagery air, and then welcome the lucky winners to explore our region."

The Sept. 2 airing will feature a prize package valued at $1,400. It includes a four-night stay at the Four Points by Sheridan Hotel; passes to more than a dozen Niagara County attractions, including Lockport Locks & Erie Canal Cruises, Lockport Cave and Underground Boat Ride, Old Fort Niagara, Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours, Aquarium of Niagara, Cave of the Winds, Niagara Gorge Discovery Center/Niagara Adventure Theater and Maid of the Mist; "Vino Visa" passports for the Niagara Wine Trail; and lunch at Top of the Falls Restaurant. Round-trip airfare and car service are provided, too.

The mission of the Niagara Tourism & Convention Corp. is to expand the economic prosperity of the Niagara USA communities by generating individual and group visitation.
