Niagara Tourism & Convention Corp. will host a "Post-SYTA (Student and Youth Travel Association) FAM tour" for tour operators attending the SYTA annual conference in Toronto this week. Immediately following the annual conference, Niagara USA will become the classroom for SYTA student tour operators from around the country Aug. 26-28.

The operators will gain a world of practical experience with numerous Niagara USA attractions including, but not limited to, the Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds, the Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours and Old Fort Niagara. In addition to visits to some of Niagara USA's most well-known attractions, the operators will learn about performance venues and experience Niagara restaurants such as the Hard Rock Café. Attendees will stay at the nearby Holiday Inn just steps from Niagara Falls.

"The bottom line objective of this FAM tour is to provide SYTA tour operators with a first-hand experience of the many Niagara USA sights and attractions that would be most beneficial for their student tours," said John Percy, NTCC president. "In addition, it's truly an effective way to promote Niagara's emerging tourism destinations to a new, broader audience."

The mission of the Niagara Tourism & Convention Corporation (NTCC) is to expand the economic prosperity of the Niagara USA communities by generating individual and group visitation. For more information, visit niagara-usa.com.
