Old Falls Street is hosting a free, day-long celebration of live music on Saturday, from noon until 10 p.m., on the middle block. "Saturday on Old Falls Street Concert" features the following artists:

•Tim Britt, noon until 2 p.m.

•Jamie Holka, 2-4 p.m.

•Zak Ward 4-7 p.m.

•Tune Babes 7-10 p.m.

The "Saturday on Old Falls Street Concert" will also feature food and beer concessions as well as merchandise from local vendors. For more information on each performer, visit Old Falls Street's Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/OldFallsStreet.

"We have seen wonderful crowds for our weekly 'Flicks on Old Falls Movie Series' and the 'TGI Fridays on Old Falls Concert Series,' " said Global Spectrum's Dan Mezhir, Old Falls Street's event manager. "We hope that this week's expanded live music schedule will attract the same camaraderie on Old Falls Street."

Other special events planned on Old Falls Street this summer include the fifth annual "Touch-a-Truck" free family event, on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 2 to 5 p.m., and the Old Falls Street "Cruise-In," welcoming the Corvettes of Buffalo and other owners of classic and custom vehicles, on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Old Falls Street's "Touch-a-Truck" event allows children and their families to interact with emergency and municipal vehicles and the street techicians who drive the trucks each day. The event also features children's activities and a bounce house on Old Falls Street's middle block.

The Old Falls Street "Cruise-In" is part of the Corvettes of Buffalo 10th annual caravan and features live music by The Boys of Summer, beginning at 5:30 p.m. All makes and models of vehicles are welcome to join in on the festivities at this event and are encouraged to stay for as long as their schedule allows. For more information, or to register a vehicle, contact Mezhir at 716-278-2111 or [email protected].
