MLB minor league all stars to visit Niagara Falls

The all stars of "America's Game" meet the all stars of Niagara Falls

On Tuesday, July 10, Niagara Falls State Park welcomes the 2012 Minor League All Star Game participants. Players, coaches, team representatives and families from across the USA will be visiting the Falls as part of the All Star Week festivities. The Buffalo Bisons are proudly hosting the All Star Game, which includes the Home Run Derby and other fun-filled events.

Players who are named to the 2012 All Star team will visit the Falls during the morning on July 10, and enjoying the sights, attractions and beauty of Niagara. As part of the programming, the "All Stars of Niagara" will be on-hand to provide a welcome and bring to life the history and heritage of Niagara Falls and the state park.

Annie Edson Taylor (the first person to go over the falls in a barrel) leads a team of figures from the history of Niagara who will be bringing Niagara Falls to life for the honored guests. The team is enjoying its third season at Niagara Falls State Park.

The All Star Game itself takes place at Coca Cola Field on the evening of Wednesday, July 11, and will be nationally televised by the MLB Network.

The public is welcome to visit the state park and be part of the players and other representatives encounter with one of the world's natural wonders.
