What will health care look like in our community as a result of health care reform, and what issues will impact the care you receive? Mount St. Mary's Hospital, in conjunction with the Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce, will host a free community presentation titled "Healthcare Reform: What it will mean for our community and small business," on Wednesday, June 13, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace (Community Room), 5285 Lewiston Road, Lewiston.

The 90-minute panel discussion and Q-and-A session will feature panelists Steven Kroll, vice president of government affairs and external relations, Healthcare Association of New York State; Daniel E. Porreca, executive director, HEALTHeLINK; and Judith A. Maness, FACHE, president and CEO, Mount St. Mary's Hospital.

In addition to learning the impact health care reform will have in the Niagara community, attendees will learn about collaborative efforts and advances being made to share important clinical information to improve the quality of care and reduce health care costs.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast, followed by the panel discussion and Q-and-A session. Advance registration is required. A registration form is available at www.msmh.org or email Fred Caso at [email protected].
