World-renowned Grammy Award-winning rock group No Doubt will perform together live for the first time in a year-and-a-half at the Teen Choice 2012 Awards. The California-based band last shared the stage in 2010, when it performed for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at the annual Kennedy Center Honors.

Lead singer Gwen Stefani said, "I can't believe this is actually happening. The idea of playing our new music live is heaven on earth. Can't wait to share it!"

Added bassist Tony Kanal, "We're so stoked to finally start performing these new songs live. And to be doing the first performance of our first single here in Los Angeles makes it even more awesome."

Teen Choice 2012 will once again celebrate the hottest teen icons in television, music, film, sports, fashion, comedy and the Web in the star-studded two-hour event airing live Sunday, July 22 (8 to 10 p.m.) on FOX.

Fans ages 13-19 can vote once each day per category for their favorite Teen Choice 2012 nominees at www.teenchoiceawards.com.

Formed in Anaheim, Calif., in 1986, No Doubt earned international acclaim with their 1995 album "Tragic Kingdom," and their follow-up, "Return of Saturn," which was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2001. The following year, the band won two Grammy Awards for the multi-platinum "Rock Steady." After the double-platinum retrospective, "The Singles," featuring the hit, "It's My Life," Stefani released two successful solo albums in 2004 and 2006. In 2009, after a nearly five-year hiatus, No Doubt completed a 50 city-plus North American tour, performing for more than 750,000 fans.

No Doubt will release their new album on Interscope Records later this year.
