The monthly meeting of the River Lea Quilt Guild will take place on Tuesday, May 15. The program will feature Deborah Naybor (Both Your Hands), who will speak about this project, which helps women toward permanent positive changes and self-sufficiency.
Members are encouraged to bring small notions donations such as thread, needles, etc.
The evening will begin with a social hour at 6:30 p.m., followed by the meeting and program at 7 p.m. in the Grand Island High School Large Cafeteria, 1100 Ransom Road.
There will be a drawing for the May raffle basket and also the "fat quarter of the month." Members wishing to participate in this raffle should bring in "fat quarters" in colors of pink and prints with roses. Members are also encouraged to bring their projects for "Show and Tell."
Guests are always welcome.
