Deputies arrested a 19-year-old Grand Island man for felony criminal mischief after he damaged property of the Tim Horton's Restaurant with graffiti on March 25.

Erie County Sheriff's Office deputies Brad Girdler and Jason Clark responded to the restaurant on Grand Island Boulevard after a report that some teens were in the store earlier in the morning and, after they left, a large amount of graffiti was found in the men's bathroom.

All four of the teens were located by deputies and, after further questioning and interview, it was discovered that one of the teens, a 19-year-old man from Grand Island, did the graffiti.

The man was arrested and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree (a class E felony), making graffiti (a class A misdemeanor), and possession of a graffiti instrument (a class B misdemeanor).

The 19-year-old was arraigned at Grand Island Town Court and remanded to the Erie County Holding Center on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
