NYPA Visitors Center hosts annual 'Spring Eggstravaganza'

Scavenger hunt, photos with bunny, child safety ID cards - all free of charge

The New York Power Authority will hold its annual "Spring Eggstravaganza" from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, at its admission-free Power Vista, the visitors center for the Niagara Power Project, at 5777 Lewiston Road.

In addition to photos with the bunny until 2 p.m., the event will feature crafts, face painting and a scavenger hunt.  New York Life Insurance Company will offer free child safety identification cards in the Community Room until 3:30 p.m.

During the event, the New York State Parks Niagara Scenic Trolley will provide free transportation between the Power Vista and the Gorge Discovery Center.

Guests also can enjoy the Power Vista's attractions, which include more than 50 displays and interactive exhibits relating to the production of electricity, energy efficiency and the area's history, and spectacular views from the observation deck 350 feet above the Niagara River Gorge. Parking and admission at the Power Vista are always free.
