Looking for last minute holiday entertaining ideas?

Tis the season to eat drink and be merry. Celebrate the holiday season as SOAPnet airs "'The Chew's' Countdown to Christmas" marathon on Saturday, Dec. 17, and Sunday, Dec. 18, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., bringing viewers more of all the food, drinks, gift ideas and helpful hints to tackle last minute holiday cooking, shopping and festivities.

The celebrations are in full swing at "The Chew," television's holiday headquarters this season. Hosted by celebrity chefs Mario Batali, Michael Symon and Carla Hall, entertaining and style expert Clinton Kelly, and health and wellness enthusiast Daphne Oz, "The Chew" invites viewers into its kitchen weekday afternoons to dish about everything from easy entertaining to making meals on a budget, while celebrating and exploring life through food. 

Highlights of "'The Chew's' Countdown to Christmas" marathon include:

Saturday, Dec. 17:

8 a.m. "Go Big Or Go Home For The Holidays": Ty Pennington ("The Revolution"); Chef Michael Symon shares one of his biggest holiday recipes yet; "Chew Crew" correspondent Chef Danny Boome brings a report on his recent visit to a renaissance festival. 

9 a.m. - "Holiday Slumber Party":Nancy Travis ("Last Man Standing"); Daphne Oz shares her recent visit to London, and demonstrates the traditional way to enjoy "English High Tea;" "The Chew" hosts cook up holiday dishes while wearing their favorite holiday pajamas.

10 a.m. - "Holiday On A Dime": Stacy London ("What Not to Wear"); a holiday installment of Michael Symon's "Five in Five" signature series; stocking stuffer ideas.

11 a.m. - "Chew On Ice": Cheryl Hines ("Suburgatory"); Olympic figure skater Brian Boitano; dazzling ice sculptures; holiday cocktail recipes.

Noon - "Cozy Christmas": Jimmy Fallon ("Late Night with Jimmy Fallon"); former guest "Mama T" returns.

Sunday, Dec. 18:

8 a.m. - " 'The Chew's' A Christmas Carol": The "Chew Crew" is cooking dishes inspired by the Christmas season, past, present and future.

9 a.m. - "My Favorite Holiday": Marlee Matlin ("Switched at Birth"); Chef Jason Roberts; holiday tree decorating ideas; the co-hosts' favorite holiday dishes.

10 a.m. - "Holiday Party In The Kitchen": Former "Dynasty" star Linda Evans ("Recipes for Life: My Memories"); party foods that won't pack on the pounds; office party etiquette tips.

11 a.m. - " 'The Chew's' Secret Santa": A holiday installment of Michael Symon's "Five in Five" signature series; Carla Hall whips up some sweet treats in the kitchen; the co-hosts reveal their "Secret Santa" gifts.

Noon - "Naughty & Nice Nibbles": Bobby Deen ("Not My Mama's Meals"); a new installment of the ongoing series "Clinton's Cooltide Yuletide."
