Newfane Holiday Light up

The Town of Newfane will hold it annual Holiday Light Up and Parade on Main Street, Route 78, on Friday, Dec. 2, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Cookies, hot chocolate and a visit with Santa follow the parade. A "Candy Cane" craft show at the Newfane United Methodist Church, will run from 4 to 8 p.m. and a Living Nativity at Grace Bible Church will be part of the evening's activities.

Local teacher Bev Bluett will present her new memoir from 2 to 4 p.m. at Shoppe On Main, located at 2714 Main St. Shoppe on Main will also host local author Ron Mazzarella for a book signing that evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Mazzarella authored the children's book. "There's A Whale In The Canal" and will sign each book sold. The book is at the shop for purchase.

Also this evening, Newfane will welcome Bella Cafe and Coffee, at 2716 Main St. The coffee house will open at 5:30 p.m., just in time for the Light Up.
