The Wilson Central School District reports the middle/high school will hold an open house on Monday, Nov. 21. Classes are not being held and students will not have to report that day. The school's faculty will be on hand to meet with parents in two sessions - from noon to 4 p.m. and from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

First quarter report cards will be available for parents to pick up in the library media center during open house hours. And student reading test scores will be available for discussion with the district's reading specialist, Cathy House.

In other news from the district, the Wilson Central guidance center has scheduled an evening program Wednesday, Nov. 30, starting at 7 p.m., to assist parents and students with the financial aid process for the college-bound student. Andy Leardini and Rick Ross of the College Financing Group will present an integrated program on "Making College Affordable." Featured will be an overview of the required forms, sources of financial aid, scholarship information, how to avoid pitfalls, and much more.

The program will be held in Cafeteria A at Wilson Central High School.
