Niagara USA Chamber, NCCC Small Business Development Center offer free energy workshop

The Niagara USA Chamber and the NCCC Small Business Development Center are presenting a free energy workshop on Thursday, Sept. 29, at the Niagara County Industrial Development Agency, 6311 Inducon Corporate Drive, Sanborn. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with the workshop scheduled from 8:30 to 10 a.m.

The workshop will help small businesses learn about the energy efficiency funding that is available to help them identify and install energy efficiency measures and to save money by reducing energy costs.

Topics include how to schedule a free energy assessment and comprehensive audit; how to apply for the subsidized installation and rebates for energy efficient measures; and other incentives and assistance that are available to qualified businesses.

Speakers include energy experts from the Small Business Development Center, NYSERDA, National Grid, NYSEG, National Fuel, Lime Energy and Enerpath.
