The Village of Lewiston Recreation Department and the Lewiston Historical Museum are joining together to present their second "Clothesline Series" of Lewiston photos from the past. These images will be on display on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lewiston Red Brick Gym, 145 N. Fourth St. This year, the new photo collection will highlight the building of Artpark (aerial photos from the Power Authority), the people of Lewiston; its ships; "Growing up in Lewiston - the photo history of Harry J. "Hap" Brown"; athletic teams of Lewiston with Ken Kenney; and many buildings, including Oak Hill. This is a once-in-a-lifetime viewing of more than 150 photos.

Marianne Gittermann, the recreation director for the village says, "If you enjoy looking at the collection we had last year, you will love series two. It brings Lewiston's past to life."

Admission is free. For more information, call 754-1990 or visit [email protected].
