The Niagara County Builders Association has announced the builders who will be featured in its 2011 Parade of Homes home show in Niagara County and Grand Island.

The show, presented by Bank of America and NYSERDA/Energy Star, opens Saturday, Sept. 17, and will run for three weekends.

Now in its 14th year, Western New York's most affordable home show will feature eight homes by seven of Niagara County's most experienced builders.

Builders participating in the show include Mordeno Construction, J. W. Stickl Construction, John F. Dickinson Construction, Ryan Homes, Schuster Construction, Glenwood Builders and David Homes.

Visitors will be invited to tour homes in Lewiston, Wheatfield, North Tonawanda and Grand Island. These homes will feature the finest craftsmanship and quality, as well as the latest in design, construction technology, energy efficiency and decorating. Builders will be available to talk with consumers about their homes. New home shoppers and homeowners looking for remodeling or decorating ideas will discover a wealth of ideas.

The 2011 Parade of Homes will be open to the public on the weekends of Sept. 17 and 18, Sept. 24 and 25 and Oct. 1 and 2, from noon until 5 p.m. each day.

Visitors can tour the homes at their own pace, and there is no admission charge.

A show booklet will provide maps to the home locations and a write-up on each home. These will be sent to over 80,000 homes and businesses in Niagara and northern Erie counties the week before the show.
