Local Lions join to help the needy

The Youngstown, Wilson and Lewiston Lions clubs combined to help the needy and make a difference. Their fifth annual Golf Classic was a success, with a portion of the proceeds directed to the Vision Beyond Site Foundation.

This year's golf event set records for attendance and monies raised. Ninety-two golfers and area businesses giving gift cards, baskets and cash helped bring in a total of $17,000.

The Lions thank all those who participated and contributed to make this year's Golf Classic a success.
