The Niagara County Community College Foundation is offering scholarships for incoming and current students for the fall 2011 semester.  Applications are due Tuesday, March 1.

High school seniors are eligible for a two-year, full-tuition Distinguished Student Scholarship.  Applicants must be graduating from high school in June with a Regents diploma; live in Niagara County; plan to attend NCCC full time; have community service involvement; and remain in the county or plan to return upon graduation.

Additional scholarships are available for part- and full-time students, whether they are incoming or currently enrolled in classes.  The funds for these scholarships are secured from a variety of sources, including donations from local businesses, individuals, foundations, memorial gifts, bequests and revenue from the annual Scholarship Gala that raised more than $100,000 in 2010.

Since its inception in 1987, the NCCC Foundation Inc. has provided nearly $2 million in scholarship awards to deserving students.

Complete scholarship information and applications are available at www.niagaracc.suny.edu/scholarships. For further information, call 614-6205.
