The Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce announces Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy as the keynote speaker for the annual "Chamber Honors" dinner. Duffy's speech is expected to address the New York state budget issues and economic development opportunities.

The 2011 Business of the Year and Business Person of the Year will be among the many achievements celebrated by the Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce during its 2011 "Chamber Honors" dinner on Saturday, Feb. 26, at the Seneca Niagara Hotel & Casino.

Community leaders and businesses of all sizes annually gather in Niagara County for this event. This year, the chamber will recognize the outstanding accomplishments of State Sen. George Maziarz, Mary Murphy of Murphy's Insurance, the Lockport City School District, TAM Ceramics, the Niagara County Industrial Development Agency, and a special recognition for the New York Power Authority's Niagara Power Project's 50th anniversary.

The "Chamber Honors" dinner is the chamber's most prestigious affair, attracting Niagara County's most prominent leaders, decision makers, dignitaries and elite sponsors. The event will feature a cocktail reception, dinner, awards ceremony and entertainment by Soul Committee.

"Niagara County is very fortunate to be served by such dedicated and competent leaders who are a force in this community and strive to improve the quality of life and economic stability of our region," said Niagara USA Chamber President Deanna Alterio Brennen.

This year's sponsors include Niacet Corporation, Seneca Gaming Corporation, Calamar, Niagara Falls Coach Lines, HSBC, and LP Ciminelli.

Tickets can be purchased by contacting the Niagara USA Chamber at 285-9141.
