Employees from Our Lady of Peace nursing home in Lewiston made a generous donation from their Spirit Fund in honor of Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara program participants who volunteer five times a week through the agency's day habilitation program.

Gratefully accepting the gift are volunteers from Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara - Lori Rutkowski, Matthew Laduca and Lyla Goodberry - along with Our Lady of Peace administrative staff - Phyllis Ham, Spirit Fund chairperson; Ron Zito, administrator; Teresa Dillsworth, assistant administrator; and Katey Dulak, activity director.

For more than half a century, Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara, a United Way agency, has provided rehabilitation and supportive services to people with developmental disabilities of all ages and their families. Visit the agency's website for more information.
