Lewiston Police Blotter for Dec. 18

The following activity occurred Monday, Dec. 6, to Sunday, Dec. 12, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. A total of 86 calls were answered by LPD during this period.

Monday, Dec. 6

•1000 block of Escarpment Drive, check welfare. Patrol reported Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Co. on location for a 78-year-old with medical problems. All OK.

•Locations on the Robert Roses Parkway, Model City Road, Lower River Road at Stella Niagara, Witmer Road and University Drive (two calls), Saunders Settlement and Tuscarora roads, Upper Mountain Road and the I-190, Upper Mountain Road and Country Club Trail, and Lewiston Road at Irving Drive, weather-related calls of reports of vehicles in ditches, disabled vehicles and assist motorists. Patrol responded to all calls.

•4500 block of Washington Drive, assault complaint. Statements taken from a 42-year-old female and a male juvenile. Patrol's report to follow.

•5100 block of Townline Road, property damage accident. Statement taken from a 56-year-old female and a 20-year-old male listed as driver No. 1. Driver attempted to turn around in a parking lot and became stuck in the front lawn. Report filed.

•1500 block of Ridge Road, vehicle fire at a landscaping business. Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. on location.

Tuesday, Dec. 7

•900 block of Seneca Street, 911 check. Patrol reported no one at home and all appeared OK.

•5700 block of Lewiston Road, Portage Road at Cayuga Street, and location unspecified. Reports of disabled vehicles/vehicles in ditches. Patrol responded to all calls.

•7000 block of Upper Mountain Road, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from both drivers; vehicle No. 2 towed. Report filed.

•1000 block of Saunders Settlement Road, EMS response. An elderly female was taken to EM-Star at Mount St. Mary's Hospital by Upper Mountain EMS.

•Lewiston Hill Road, injured deer. Animal dispatched by patrol; deer tag issued.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, two-vehicle property damage accident. Statements taken from driver No. 1 and owner of parked vehicle. Driver No. 1 to address damages. Report filed.

Wednesday, Dec. 8

•4900 block of Ridgeview Drive, AED call. Lewiston No. 1 VFC on location for an elderly male, difficulty breathing.

•400 block of Water Street in Youngstown, assist. Patrol on location with Niagara County Sheriff's Department for an alarm response. All secure.

•LPD office, walk-in harassment complaint. Statement taken from a 55-year-old female. Report filed.

•1700 block of Saunders Settlement Road, hit-run. Patrol reported a street sign damaged; state Department of Transportation notified.

•8000 block of Pletcher Road, hunter complaint. Patrol spoke with a 41-year-old male. All OK; the hunter was hunting legally.

•2000 block of Swann Road, domestic, verbal only. Patrol reported the complaint as unfounded. The homeowners were reported as sleeping. The boyfriend of the daughter called in a fake complaint. Patrol cleared.

•700 block of Cayuga Street, unwanted person at a bar/restaurant. Patrol listed a 52-year-old male in its report. Patrol reported the party as compliant and left. Subject also started making accusations that an off-duty individual (not identified) beat him up. Report filed.

Thursday, Dec. 9

•600 block of Raymond Drive, highly intoxicated male. Lewiston No. 1 fire chief reported the subject was OK.

•1200 block of Pletcher Road, alarm response at a campground. All secure; patrol cleared.

•500 block of Pletcher Road, bad check/criminal mischief complaint. Statement taken from a 69-year-old female regarding a 55-year-old female. Investigation to continue; report filed.

•800 block of Pletcher Road, burglary complaint/larceny/criminal mischief. Statement taken from a 37-year-old female regarding a 48-year-old male. Investigation to continue; report filed.

•400 block of Oneida Street, boyfriend and girlfriend domestic. Statement taken from a 31-year-old male regarding a 31-year-old female. Domestic Incident Report and patrol's report both filed.

•800 block of Ridge Road, check welfare. Patrol informed of juveniles home alone; adult female found on location. All OK.

Friday, Dec. 10

•700 block of Lower River Road, suspicious vehicle. Patrol reports a 35-year-old male listed as a suspect was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and resisting arrest. Arraignment held at Lewiston Town Court. Bail of $500/$1,000 assigned and male remanded to custody of NCSD. Report filed.

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, stolen vehicle. Statement taken from a 58-year-old female regarding a female party. Patrol states a 2007 Jeep Liberty, black, was reported taken between 2 and 6 a.m. Report filed.

•1100 block of Saunders Settlement Road, possible domestic. Statement taken from a 46-year-old female regarding a 27-year-old male.

•Upper Mountain and Military roads, reckless driver. Driver gone on patrol's arrival; plate number logged.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, fraud complaint. Statement taken from a 57-year-old male regarding an unknown suspect.

•Creek and Balmer roads, suspicious vehicle. Patrol reported a school employee smoking at the location.

•5300 block of Military Road, injury accident at the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission property. Patrol reported an elderly male had a possible stroke and drove off the roadway and damaged the property. Upper Mountain EMS transported driver to EM-Star at Mount St. Mary's Hospital. Vehicle towed. Report filed.

•3700 block of Ransomville Road, assist. Patrol on location with NCSD for a large open burn complaint. Homeowner extinguished fire; all OK.

•4800 block of Indian Hill Road, reckless driver complaint at a gas/convenience business. Plate number logged; vehicle listed as a 2000 Cadillac was gone on patrol's arrival.

•1000 block of Upper Mountain Road, unwanted party. Patrol reported a 45-year-old female was refusing to leave. Call handled by State Police. All OK.

•1900 block of Military Road, assist. Patrol requested by Town of Niagara Police for a large fight in a parking lot of a business. Call disregarded en route.

Saturday, Dec. 11

•200 block of Lockport Street in Youngstown, assist. Patrol on location with NCSD for an alarm response at the Youngstown village garage. All secure; patrol cleared.

•2600 block of Youngstown-Lockport Road in Ransomville, assist. Patrol on location with NCSD for a fight at a bar. Two individuals taken into custody for disorderly conduct. No further details. Patrol cleared.

•5300 block of Military Road. Check situation. Patrol reported a 52-year-old male was disorderly in the ER of Mount St. Mary's Hospital. Situation addressed.

•Country Club Trail, assist. Patrol on location with State Police on a hunter problem. No further details.

•800 block of Center Street, larceny of Christmas decorations. Patrol spoke with a male; no report.

•4900 block of Indian Hill Road, fight at a gas/convenience business. Patrol listed a 21-year-old male, a 20-year old male and a 20-year-old female in its report. No further details; report filed.

•4600 block of Creek Road, mental health response. Patrol spoke with a 44-year-old female and reports a 20-year-old female was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

•600 block of Cayuga Street, attempted stolen vehicle. Statement taken from a female; report filed.

•Lewiston Hill, vehicle fire involving a 1999 Chevrolet. Statement taken from the driver; Lewiston No. 1 on location.

•4600 block of Eddy Drive West, check welfare. Patrol reported an elderly female had fallen, possibly breaking her hip. Lewiston No. 1 EMS on location to transport to EM-Star at Mount St. Mary's Hospital.

•Townline and Ridge roads, car-deer accident. Statement taken from the driver.

•5000 block of Sweet Home Road, assist. Patrol on location with the Niagara Falls Police Department for an armed robbery stand off call. No further details.

Sunday, Dec. 12

•800 block of Center Street, criminal mischief complaint. Statement taken from a female who informed patrol she was going to try to address the issue on her own. Patrol retained the statement.

•900 block of Mohawk Street, check welfare of a female following a no response on the LPD "Are You OK" system. Subject contacted and found OK.

•800 block of Center Street, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from the drivers. No reported injuries or tows.

•Calkins Road, car-deer accident. Statement taken from the driver.

•600 block of Scovell Drive, property damage. Statements taken from a 74-year-old female; other party not listed. Patrol reported mailboxes of both parties were struck by an unknown vehicle that was gone on patrol's arrival. Report filed.
