The following activity occurred Monday, Nov. 29, to Sunday, Dec. 5, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. A total of 88 calls were answered by LPD during this period.

Monday, Nov. 29

  • Niagara University campus, EMS response. Patrol reports a 20-year-old male was thought to have ingested a quantity of marijuana. Subject transported to Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center by Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Co. EMS. No marijuana found on his person.
  • 700 block of Upper Mountain Road, check welfare. Patrol reports a 41-year-old male was given a courtesy ride to a Ransomville Road address.
  • 1600 block of Ridge Road, burglary. Statement taken from a 30-year-old male regarding an ATV stolen from a garage. Niagara County Sheriff's Department called to the scene; investigation to continue. Report filed.
  • 900 block of Center Street, larceny report at a supermarket. Statement taken from a 50-year-old female regarding a 21-year-old female. Investigation to continue; report filed.
  • Center and Seventh streets, two-car accident. Statements taken from both drivers. Patrol reports a female passenger from vehicle No. 2 was taken to Mount St. Mary's Hospital for an evaluation. Vehicle No. 2 towed; report filed.
  • 1200 block of Pletcher Road, recovered stolen vehicle in the clay pits area. Patrol reported finding a burned-out vehicle listed in its reports as stolen earlier from a bar/restaurant parking area on the 700 block of Cayuga Street. Vehicle towed; report filed.
  • 4700 block of Porter Center Road, property dispute. Patrol spoke with a 33-year-old female; report filed.
  • 5000 block of Grove Street, domestic. Statements taken from a 43-year-old female and a 46-year-old male. Domestic Incident Report filed.
  • 800 block of Foxwood Drive, suspicious person. All OK.
  • 1100 block of Saunders Settlement Road, overdose. Patrol spoke with a 40-year-old male and listed a 36-year-old female as a victim/suspect. Female taken to Mount St. Mary's Hospital remained hospitalized and was issued an appearance ticket for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

Tuesday, Nov. 30

  • 600 block of Cayuga Street, check 911 call. Patrol reported the resident was having a problem with a dog but was otherwise OK.
  • 800 block of The Circle and 5300 block of Military Road at Mount St. Mary's Hospital, separate general alarm responses. Locations secure; patrol cleared both calls.
  • 600 block of Cayuga Street, check welfare from ‘Are You OK?' call. No problems found.
  • Ninth and Center streets, two-vehicle accident with injuries. Statements taken from both drivers; driver No. 2 taken to Mount St. Mary's Hospital. Fire hydrant damage reported; both vehicles towed. Report filed.
  • LPD, walkup complaint of juvenile problems in the hamlet of Sanborn. Patrol informed by a female of youths out at 3 a.m., causing problems in yards. All subjects believed to under the age of 16. Night checks of the area requested.
  • Saunders Settlement Road, attempt to locate reckless driver. Plate number logged; vehicle gone on patrol's arrival.
  • 1000 block of Pletcher Road, follow-up arrest. Patrol on follow-up to a stolen checks complaint reported the arrest of a 42-year-old male. No further details.
  • 5300 block of Elm Drive East, aggravated harassment. Statement taken from a 45-year-old female regarding a 46-year-old male listed as a suspect. No further details.
  • 800 block of Pletcher Road, accidental stabbing. Statement taken from a female at Mount St. Mary's Hospital. Female advised patrol she had stabbed herself while cooking.
  • Lewiston Road at Barton Drive, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from both drivers; vehicles secured. Report filed.
  • 900 block of Balmer Road, check welfare. Patrol assisted NCSD and reported no problems. Call cleared.
  • 5100 block of Forest Road and 2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, separate check 911 calls. No problems found at either address.
  • Pletcher and Lower River roads, follow-ups. Patrol reported statements taken from a 19-year-old male regarding two previous calls. Investigation to continue.

Wednesday, Dec. 1

  • 4500 block of Washington Drive, loud party complaint. Patrol reported a male and female got into an argument; the female left the residence. Patrol cleared.
  • 5000 block of Garlow Road, attempt to locate a Chevy Blazer. Patrol reported assisting NCSD; vehicle sought in connection with a strong-arm robbery that occurred earlier. No further derails; patrol cleared.
  • 600 block of Cayuga Street, criminal mischief. Statement taken from a 22-year-old male who reported a vehicle window smashed.
  • 700 block of Cayuga Street, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from both drivers; report filed.
  • 100 block of Mohawk Street, unwanted party. Patrol reports the party left without incident and was driven to the 400 block of Church Street.
  • 100 block of North Fourth Street, suspicious vehicle occupied by four males in a parking lot. All parties advised the park was closed; plate number logged.
  • Ninth and Mohawk streets, suspicious person. Patrol checked the area with negative results; unknown activity reported.
  • 2900 block of Nevada Street, assist Town of Niagara Police. Patrol informed of a large fight; all parties separated prior to patrol's arrival.
  • 800 block of Cayuga Street and at Artpark, separate property checks. Both locations secure.

Thursday, Dec. 2

  • 900 block of Hillside Drive and the 4700 block of Model City Road, separate EMS response calls. Patrol reports two males were taken by Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. to Mount St. Mary's Hospital for treatment.
  • 600 block of Cayuga Street, larceny from a vehicle. Statements taken from a 27-year-old male and a 55-year-old male; suspect unknown. Report filed.
  • 4700 block of Porter Center Road, possible overdose. Patrol spoke with a 41-year-old male regarding a 16-year-old male juvenile. Subject taken to EM-Star at Mount St. Mary's Hospital for treatment. Report filed.
  • 2000 block of Mount Hope Road, assist. Patrol on location with NCSD for a mental health response.
  • 400 block of Kenwood Drive, fraud complaint. Statement taken from a 48-year-old male regarding an unknown suspect. Report filed.
  • 2900 block of Saunders Settlement Road, officer requested. Complainant left prior to patrol's arrival.
  • 1700 block of Ridge Road, possible prowler. Statement taken from a 45-year-old female who stated she saw the shadow of a man behind her house. Patrol checked the area with LPD K-9 unit and reported negative results.

Friday, Dec. 3

  • Seton Hall, NU campus, intoxicated female. Patrol reports assisting Upper Mountain EMS with a 19-year-old male. Patrol cleared.
  • 1400 block of Swann Road, alarm response at the town highway garage. Patrol reported the building secure and no key holder.
  • 4700 block of Townline Road, car-deer accident. Statement taken from the driver; plate number logged. Report filed.
  • 2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, separate calls of counterfeit bills at a gas/convenience business. Statements taken from two males. Patrol reports seizing currency of $20 and $50 from the incidents and securing same. Separate reports filed.
  • Center and North Fifth streets, car-pedestrian accident. Statement taken from the driver. Lewiston No. 1 EMS on location; a female was taken to Mount St. Mary's Hospital for treatment. Report filed.
  • 900 block of Center Street, follow-up. Statement taken from a 50-year-old female from an earlier larceny complaint, resulting in the arrest of a 21-year-old female. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.
  • Center Street towards Ridge Road, reckless driver. Plate number logged; patrol reported the vehicle as gone on its arrival.
  • Dickersonville Road and Route 93, assist. Patrol on location with U.S. Border patrol agents for a traffic stop. NCSD also on location for backup. No further details.

  • Seventh and Center streets, suspicious person. Patrol located and advised a male to leave the Christmas decorations alone on his walk home.
  • 700 block of Center Street, suspicious person. Area checked with negative results.
  • 4100 block of Calkins Road, check 911 call. Phone issues reported; all otherwise OK. Patrol cleared.
  • 5400 block of Walmore Road, alarm response. Accidental trip reported.
  • 5400 block of Walmore Road, alarm response. Accidental trip reported.
  • 400 block of Chicora Road, dog bite. Statement taken from a 75-year-old male regarding an earlier incident on the 900 block of Oxbow Lane. Report filed.
  • 300 block of South Seventh Street, aggravated harassment. Statement taken from a 27-year-old male who stated he received three threatening phone calls from an unknown male. The caller stated he was going to kill him. No report wished by the complainant who stated he wanted to make patrol aware of the situation.

Sunday, Dec. 5

  • 2200 block of Mount Hope Road, EMS response. A male complaining of chest pains was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for treatment.
  • 900 block of Center Street, larceny at a supermarket. Patrol listed two males, ages 27 and 28 years old, plus another male (no age listed) as suspects. The 28-year-old male was placed under arrest; the other suspects left in a vehicle, plate number logged. No further details.
  • 3000 block of Lower Mountain Road, assist. Patrol on location with NCSD on a harassment complaint. No further details.
  • Mohawk and North Fifth streets, two-vehicle injury accident. Statements taken from both drivers. Female driver of vehicle No. 1 taken by Lewiston No. 1 to Mount St. Mary's. Report filed.
