occurred Monday, Oct. 18, to Sunday, Oct. 24, as reported by the Lewiston
Police Department. A total of 81 calls were answered by LPD during this period.
Monday, Oct. 18
- 700 block of Cayuga
Street, burglary complaint at a bar/restaurant. Statement taken from a
41-year-old male who reported the business was broken into and items taken.
Alarm company initially contacted the business and was investigating the call.

- 700 block of Center
Street, harassment complaint. Statement taken from a 24-year-old female
regarding a female suspect. Report filed.
- 5300 block of
William Street, attempted burglary. Statement taken from a male; report filed.
- 4600 block of Porter
Center Road, check welfare of a resident. All OK.
- Saunders Settlement
Road at Route 429, check for a reckless driver. Negative results reported.
- Robert Moses Parkway
northbound, reckless driver. Patrol assisted State Police and reported all OK.
Tuesday, Oct. 19
- Indian Hill Road,
vehicle rollover. Patrol reported the arrest of a 20-year-old male from the
incident for Driving While Intoxicated. Blood Alcohol Content testing
performed; BAC result .23 of 1 percent of alcohol. Suspect arraigned at
Lewiston Town Court, bail of $1,000/$2,000 assigned and transferred to custody
of Niagara County Sheriff's Department. Report filed.
- Lewiston Road,
suspicious person near the Niagara University campus. Male give a courtesy ride
by patrol to a Lutts Road address. Patrol cleared.
- 900 block of
Pletcher Road, stolen vehicle complaint. Statement taken from a 41-year-old
male who reported a 32-foot Gulfstream motor home, color tan and blue, was
stolen from the driveway. Alberta, Canada, registration logged. Report filed.
- Ridge Road, reckless
driver complaint. Patrol located the vehicle and reported citing a 41-year-old
male for failure to use the designated lane. Uniform traffic ticket issued.
- 900 block of Upper
Mountain Road, larceny complaint. Statement taken from a 75-year-old female
which resulted in the arrest of a 64-year-old female. Appearance ticket issued
for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.
- 300 block of Seneca
Street, aggravated harassment complaint. Statement taken from a 72-year-old
female regarding an unknown suspect. Investigation to continue; report filed.
- Unspecified
location, follow-up. Patrol reported charging a 30-year-old male suspect with
third-degree assault stemming from an earlier fight complaint at a
bar/restaurant on the 800 block of Center Street. Appearance ticket issued for
Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.
- 800 block of
Carriage Lane, area check. Patrol reports a re-check from an earlier call of a
suspicious person in the area with a flashlight.
Wednesday, Oct. 20
- Saunders Settlement
Road, car-deer accident. Statement taken from the driver; report filed.
- 4500 block of Creek
Road, alarm response. Patrol reported an accidental trip by a construction
worker.
- 5900 block of Mayflower
Road, possible fraud complaint. Statement taken from a 21-year-old male; report
filed.
- Upper Mountain Road,
reckless driver complaint. Patrol advised of a white/blue vehicle that left the
Tuscarora Reservation. NCSD located in Cambria.
- Saunders Settlement
and Bridgeman roads, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the arrest of a
23-year-old female for having a suspended license, a suspended registration, an
uninsured vehicle and an uninspected vehicle. Uniform traffic tickets for all
violations issued and Lewiston Town Court date assigned. Vehicle towed; report
filed.
- 800 block of The
Circle, suspicious person. Call reported a male with a flashlight in a
backyard. Patrol found negative results on its search.
- Unspecified
locations, three separate vehicle/traffic stops. Patrol reported citing a
48-year-old male, a 22-year-old male and a 23-year-old on separate infractions
of operating while the vehicle's registration is suspended/revoked. Uniform
traffic tickets and Lewiston Court dates issued to all and vehicles towed.

Thursday, Oct. 21
- 4400 block of Creek
Road, car-deer accident. Statement taken from the driver; front end damage
reported. Report filed.

Lewiston Road, larceny complaint. No further details; report filed.
- LPD office, property
dispute complaint. Statement taken from a 35-year-old male regarding a
43-year-old female. Issue resolved by patrol; report filed.
- 2200 block of
Saunders Settlement Road, animal problem. An injured skunk was dispatched by
patrol.
- Garlow Road,
one-vehicle rollover/injury accident. Patrol assisted State Police and NCSD on
the call.
- LPD office,
aggravated harassment complaint. Statement taken from a 54-year-old male;

Saunders Settlement Road, shooting complaint. Patrol advised of a subject
shooting a bow in the front yard of the address. Individual moved to the back
yard.

Schoolhouse Road, fraud complaint. Statement taken from a 79-year-old male;

Saunders Settlement Road, shoplifter complaint at a gas/convenience business.
Statement taken from a 27-year-old male regarding a 26-year-old female. Suspect
placed into custody. Bail of $200 assigned and suspect remanded to the Niagara
County Jail. Report filed.

Saunders Settlement Road, counterfeit currency. Patrol listed a 62-year-old
male in its report. Report filed.
Friday, Oct. 22
- Military Road at the
I-190 exit, two-car accident. Statements taken from both drivers.
- 4600 block of Creek
Road, EMS assist. Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. on location for a
wheelchair accident.
- Saunders Settlement
and Garlow roads, reckless driver. Call handled by NCSD.
- North Eighth and
Onondaga streets, report of a fight. Patrol reported juveniles playing in the
area and no problems.
- Creek Road, assist.
Patrol reports assisting State Police on a DWI pullover/arrest. No further
details.
- 4700 block of Porter
Center Road, disturbing the peace. Patrol reported a band playing in a shed
behind a house and advised participants to call it a night.
- 700 block of Mohawk
Street, harassment. Patrol spoke with a 44-year-old female and a 63-year-old
male. Call handled by patrol.
Saturday, Oct. 23
- NU, Seton Hall,
intoxicated female. Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Co. EMS on location.
- NU, Campus Safety,
theft of services. A taxi driver reported being shorted a fare. Resolved by
patrol.
- 5400 block of
Walmore Road, fight at a bar. Patrol and State Police located the parties on
Green Road. No further information.
- Water Street parking
lot, hit and run accident. Statement taken from a female driver of vehicle No.
2; vehicle No. 1 left the scene. No injuries or tow. Report filed.
- 2200 block of
Saunders Settlement Road, hit-run accident at a gas/convenience business.
Statements taken from both drivers; driver of vehicle No. 2 reported minor
damage and requested no report.
- Upper Mountain Road,
stolen ATV. Statement taken from a 28-year-old male regarding an unknown

Sunday, Oct. 24
- 4100 block of Old
Ransomville Road, property damage accident. Statement taken from the driver of
vehicle No. 1; vehicle No. 2 parked. Report field.
- Fourth and Center
streets, intoxicated male. Subject taken to an address on the 300 block of
North Ninth Street.
- 300 block of South
Seventh Street, disturbing the peace. Patrol reports the party was shut down
for the night.
- 800 block of Center
Street, fight at a bar/restaurant. Patrol listed the following as persons
involved: a 23-year-old female, a 23-year-old male, and an female and male, no
ages listed. Complainant did not wish to file any charges.
- Bridgeman Road,
animal problem. Patrol reports a cat had a glass jar stuck on its head. Call
handled by patrol.
- Ridge and Fourth
streets, check call for two dogs locked inside a vehicle. Patrol reported
negative results.
- 4500 block of Porter
Center Road, harassment complaint. Statement taken from a 51-year-old female
who reported a former tenant threatened criminal mischief to her house.
- 900 block of Pletcher Road,
unwanted party. Patrol reported a male party left for the evening.
