Maziarz reappointed as NCCC trustee

Marvin Maziarz of Niagara Falls has been reappointed to a seven-year term on the Niagara County Community College Board of Trustees by the Niagara County Legislature.

Maziarz, who is replacing board member Arthur Pappas whose term expired in June, had served as a governor's appointed trustee from 2001 to 2009. During that time, he served four terms as the financial officer and two terms as chairman of the board. 

Maziarz also served as the board's official delegate to the New York Community College Trustees and has represented the NCCC board of trustees in numerous local, state, and national trustee association events. Maziarz is a member of the NCCC Foundation Inc. board and has served six years as a member of the College Association Inc. board of directors of NCCC. Maziarz was a professor and the division chairperson in the NCCC Math Science Technology Department until his retirement in 1999.
