Grand Island Chamber of Commerce
SereniTea Cottage wins Property Improvement Award

Grand Island Dispatch, March 13, 2009

Grand Island Chamber of Commerce President John Bonora presents owners Ken Knight and Catherine Knight of SereniTea Cottage & Gift Shoppe with the Property Improvement Award.

What once was a vacant building that had sat untouched for years is now a beautifully decorated and maintained Victorian tea and gift shop.

For their efforts in improving the Island, Catherine and Ken Knight of SereniTea Cottage & Gift Shoppe were presented the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce Property Improvement Award on Friday, March 6.

The chamber commends the couple "for their accomplishments on improving the appearance and safety of  their property, thus enhancing the beautification of Grand Island."

The grand opening of SereniTea Cottage & Gift Shoppe, located at 2014 Grand Island Blvd., was in April of 2008 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house.
