Santa to visit with Adams Fire Co.

Santa will be taking to the streets of Wheatfield aboard an Adams Fire Co.
fire truck this month, as well as stopping in at the fire hall for breakfast.

The annual Santa Claus Drive throughout the Adams Fire Co. district will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15 and Wednesday, Dec. 17. Santa will pass out candy canes to children in the service area west of Schultz Road on Monday and the area east of Schultz Road on Wednesday. Sirens and Christmas music will announce Santa's arrival in each neighborhood.

In addition, Santa will be making a special stop to greet youngsters at the Adams Fire Co. Farmers Breakfast on Sunday, Dec. 14, at the firehall, 7113 Nash Road, Wheatfield.

The fire company is holding the breakfasts from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the second Sunday of the month. In addition to the special Dec. 14 breakfast with Santa, breakfasts will be held Jan. 11, Feb. 8 and March 8. The all-you-can-eat meal includes eggs, sausage, ham, fruit, pancakes, french toast, pastries, potatoes, coffee, tea, juice and milk. Cost for adults and children age 12 and up is $8. Cost for children ages 6 to 11 is $5. Children age 5 and younger eat free.
